And now....

It's been a while, I know. But for good reason I tell you. Both Lyle and I have been very busy with odds and ends. He's working like crazy and I started working more, both at the hospital and a little fun side job at the brand spanking new REI store here in Greenville. There really hasn't been much to blog about....I haven't been cooking much due to lack of time and appetite for much, no decorating projects, and really no major events. Lyle and I have barely seen one another. So I didn't want to bore you with, well....nothing. 

I have to admit though, that just in the last bit, Lyle has been up to a couple projects in his very little sleep deprived time. Here's one of them. His stone walkway. He did most of this all by himself with a little help from his parents while they were here visiting a few weeks ago. Didn't he do a nice job?

And then another. This one was pretty quick and easy for him.

Yupp! We are 12 weeks along now. Can you believe it? These pictures are amazing compared to the first set we had done just 3 weeks prior. Baby has grown so much and was waving arms and legs at me. I loved seeing that....and the little bumm. I cry every time! In the middle shot you can see the little thing looking straight at me (or you:). There really is a face! Lyle hasn't been able to make it to any of the ultrasounds yet, but were hoping to sneak me into the ER one of these days so he can see a quick shot for himself. Maybe we'll be able to take a guess at the gender by then....So we are trekking along and due May 23, 2012. Life's changing but in many new and exciting ways. God is good! I've started cleaning out closet space and making room for this little new addition. We haven't started any major "projects" yet, but that will come. Maybe when the reality hits and I start showing a little bump. As of yet...nothing and Lyle laughs at me when I try to tell him there's one peaking out.

So what do you all think? Boy or girl? Obviously we are excited either way. But any guesses?
