39 Weeks & A Really Cool Necklace

Well hello friends. Welcome to my 39 week photo montage. I think you've all seen me in this shirt a few too many times now, I realize as I'm writing this, but bare with me. Not much longer. It's obvious this has been one of my favorites....and to be honest, one of the only ones that still really fits me!

 I really wanted to get this out today to show off my new necklace. It just arrived yesterday. Do you recognize it? It's the J. Crew Bubble Necklace. To be honest I didn't know anything about it until I read this blog post here by Natasha and instantly fell in love. I immediately got online to find it for myself.  

J. Crew sells it for $150, but I got mine accidentally off Ebay. I say "accidentally" because I meant to just be playing around and ended up winning the bid. At least it was only $26. Pretty good deal I will say. What do you think?

 I'm really getting excited about all the fun things I can wear it with once Little is no longer in my belly...hence he's here with me!

 Speaking of Little, I had my 39 week doctor's appointment yesterday. It was quite the visit/all day visit. I was tired and already emotional upon arriving to the first appointment of the day, then the nurse wasn't as kind to me as I thought she should be...the doctor referred me for an ultrasound due to concern with fundal growth/low amniotic fluid of which he didn't do a good job of explaining to me his reasoning for the referral....there wasn't an ultrasound technician onsite, so I had to drive to another office....bawled in the car to Lyle on my way (of which he so kindly without me asking rushed over to meet me)...the new office had no idea why I was there....waited around for a very long time....then found out everything was just fine and that Little has received a perfect score based from his ultrasound (breathing, heart rate, growth, proportion, etc)......but..

 wait for it....

he's predicted to be at this moment 8 pounds or more and in the 71st percentile! Whoa! Where is this baby coming from? Lyle & I aren't very big people and we weren't big babies either. I hope he gets out of me alright! And I hope he comes soon so he doesn't grow too much more! Ouch!

 But I'm dilating and effaced and the doctor predicted Little to come in the next few days! Yippee! Yesterday at work one of the occupational therapists did a little cranio-sacreal adjustment on Little (don't ask, but it's supposed to help move us into labor). We are ready for our big & healthy baby boy!

Please keep praying for us as this mommy & daddy are ready for their little guy. Daddy is getting quite excited and it's really precious to listen to and observe.
