30 weeks and 1 day. It's been a bit since I posted a bumpdate. Can you
tell we've grown? Lyle keeps telling me that I'm getting huge and that he doesn't think I could possibly get any bigger....little does he know I have quite a ways to go! Little is constantly on the move and sometimes I think
he's going to just bust his way through me! At least my dreams lately
have been telling me that.
A friend recently asked me if my feet and legs had started swelling yet. At that point I didn't think so other than when I flew on the airplane. In the last couple of days I've felt differently....swelling has commenced. I'm even starting to feel like I don't want to wear my rings anymore. Not because they don't fit, but just because they aren't as loose as I prefer. Restless leg syndrome has been another biggie for me, especially when I'm trying to relax on the couch. Fortunately it goes away for the most part when I go to bed. Other than that I'm feeling pretty ding-dang good! I've slowed down quite a bit and have to rest every so often, but that's not so bad. I've set a goal to be able to sit myself up without any assistance throughout the rest of the pregnancy to keep whatever I have left of my abs in working order. Now before you all jump on me and tell me that won't happen, I'm aware that most likely I won't succeed. But at least if I try it will keep me from being too reliant on others (umm Lyle) and give me a tinge of a workout.
So what have I been craving? I don't know if craving is the right word, but it seems within the last month or so all I want to eat is sweets. You name it: ice cream, cookies, mini Cadbury Eggs, gummies....I'd take almost anything. With the Girl Scout cookie season in motion, it hasn't helped that Lyle brought a couple of boxes of Thin Mints home. We'll see what the doctor (and the scale!) thinks of this at my next appointment in less than a week!
Well Lyle says it's time for me to get off the computer. Did I miss anything? I hope all is well.
Oh! Just to let you all know, baby names are still in the works. New ideas, but nothing is for sure yet, and nursery updates are on their way but still in process.
