Time Flies By...and Paralyzed

I'm a bit paralyzed. Last week I decided to put on a casual, no big deal dinner for the new interns and their families at our house this Wednesday. That totals 20 people by the time our class and the third years are included. I've never hosted for that many people before; I'm not sure what I was thinking. Not to worry! It will work out and be very fun. But I continue this morning to sit on the couch, write thank you notes and watch Brothers & Sisters on Net Flix instead of doing productive activities to get ready for tomorrow. I'm completely wrapped up in the show (as well as Dexter). What I need to do is to get my day going and start planning for tomorrow....but I'm paralyzed.

It's interesting to me how life has changed so much from a year ago. Last summer when I wasn't working I had very few things to do: sleep in late, wake up, run, clean the apartment, cook dinner. This summer I'm keeping quite busy with activities and people. Time can really zip by these days. I'm loving the change.

Meanwhile, this is what the cats enjoy spending their time doing.
Watching the bugs go by.
