I'm going to go ahead and warn you, this may be a bit much for some...and any men out there may not want to read this. I just thought it was so funny I had to share the story.
The other night I was feeding Finn in the middle of the night as usual. Now normally I keep the lights off so that he doesn't wake too much and will go back to bed with ease. Lately, he's been having a hard time latching on at night, especially if he's gone a longer stent of time and I have a plentiful supply for him. So this time I decided to turn the light on to see if this would help us both. Holy Cow! To my surprise, before he'd even attempted to latch on, I was spraying him all over his face and in his eye! Poor little guy, no wonder! It was like a water balloon with a leak!
Lesson learned: Have a light on, at least in the distance.
