I decided to make a summer "bucket" list of things I want to do and get done this summer while I'm not technically working.
Here it goes....are you ready? Can you hold me to them?
1. My main job, priority and duty (now & forever) is to be the best mommy I can be. This must take precedent over all the rest. I must remember this, but don't mind one bit. Hey, I am on "maternity leave".
3. Run. I cannot wait to start running again and to get this little mommy body back into shape! I'm very much craving it. I think I have about a week left until I get the "OK" from the doctor, then GAME ON! It'll be me, Finn & the BOB. It's going to be a rough start but we can do it.
4. Take more pictures. I need to take as many pictures of this little guy as I can. I can't believe how time has flown by already and how fast he's growing. I don't want us to forget one second of it. Plus, it'll be good practice with the camera, right?
5. Make our bed in the morning. I've gotten really relaxed with this over the years. Maybe it's because often I know that Lyle's on his way home from being on call to just "undo" it and jump back in. Or pure laziness. Or I could blame it on Maddy; she likes to lounge around in the morning and I'm often reluctant to disturb her. Whatever it may be, it needs to change. I'm challenging myself to make the bed 4 days a week. Please keep me accountable!
Can I do it? Anything I should add? I didn't want to make the list too long because it should be obtainable, but I'm open to suggestions.
