Lyle & I are taking a beach getaway vacation coming up here in a little bit. We are oh-so-excited! We're heading to Amelia Island & St. Augustine, Florida to relax and hopefully get some rays.
As I was getting excited about our getaway, I realized that I may need a couple things...a swimsuit?? There is no way I could fit into one of mine in my current condition these days. But what did I want to buy? A one-piece? A maternity suit that I would only wear on this vacation? I settled on the idea of a two-piece that I could wear this summer as well, as Little and I cool off at the pool. I figured the beaches this time of year may be a little sparse with people and I could just cover up with a tank or sundress when not actually in the water. This would make my money go a little further.
I got this Lole suit from REI. It's very comfortable, gives me full coverage, and I'm hoping the black will be a little slimming. But I can't believe I bought a swimsuit pregnant! Ahhh.
Caution: I do not look like this with it on!
I've also been a big fan of Old Navy recently as well. They've had some really great styles and if you get it on sale, really great deals. I hoping to maybe pick up a little sundress from there before we head south. Something like this...
or this.
What do you think? I think my belly will fit under one of these and I can sport it this summer when it's hot and humid here in the south. I'll have to go check them out and see what I think and if it's worth it. I'm really done buying clothes at this point. I'm ready to start fitting back into my normal stuff. Only about 10 weeks to go!
Happy Thursday Ya'll!!

If you want to be able to use the suit/ dress this summer, I highly suggest making sure it easily pulls over to the side so that you can nurse in it. If you can't easily nurse in it without stretching it out or ripping it, you won't use it after baby is born!
Enjoy your vacay!

(if you plan on nursing, I should say. I'm not a lactation nazi - but prepare to meet some :) )
