I was out this morning buying a birthday gift for my mother and I found these darling little birds. They were so inexpensive and I thought they would look perfect in our kitchen. And you know the saying "put a bird on it"...I thought it was fitting. Hey, and maybe the cats will get a kick out of them! My favorite part is their feet. There are a lot of fun little shops in downtown Greenville. One of my favorites is this one on South Main Street in the West End, called Kudzu. I'm always finding fun gifts for people in there. Anyway, I thought I'd share my little birds with you all.
I'm leaving in a few hours for a flight back to Seattle to go on a family vacation to Lake Chelan for just over a week. Hopefully the cats will not have attacked the birds before I return. Lyle won't be coming on this trip, unfortunately. That's the only bummer. Hopefully next time.
